Solar Cooking

Solar Household Energy’s (SHE) has partnered with Wangari Gardens to bring our garden into the solar cooking world.   Using SHE’s solar cookers and our own DIY solar cookers and solar dehydrators we have been cooking lunches from the garden every Sunday during Open House.

Solar Household Energy’s focused has been international with populations that cook meals with biomass (firewood, charcoal, dung):  SHE is part of SCInet, the organization in Sacramento that organized the Solar Cooking Convention.
